Frank Mitchell U105 speaks with Mediation & Counselling NI

27 Mar Frank Mitchell U105 speaks with Mediation & Counselling NI

Frank-MitchellWith Gweneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announcing they are separating after 10 years of marriage, they raise the topic of ‘uncoupling’ and ‘co-parenting.’ Paltrow and Martin explain via Paltrows Goop website that they “planned to “consciously uncouple” and “co-parent” their children.”

Uncoupling and co-parenting are concepts not reserved for celebrities, but apply to all parents with children who are going through separation and/or divorce. It is vital for the benefit of their children that separating parents learn the skills and techniques required to separate and thereafter co-parent their children.

Yesterday Ursula Mayers spoke with Frank Mitchell on U105 about mediation, uncoupling and co-parenting. They discussed briefly the issues around co-parenting and uncoupling and the services offered by Mediation & Counselling NI that help separated parents.
